In this chapter, we'll talk about "full-time contractors", where to find them, how to get them interested in our positions, and how to prevent getting inundated with time-wasting applications. We want to attract as many of the right kinds of developers as possible. To do this we're going to get our open positions in front of a global network of skilled engineers, make it clear why working for our company would be great for them, show that we are aligned with their values, and provide a "threshold" challenge so that we don't get overrun with applications.
